All prices shown at craftOrissa site are exclusive of customs charges, since the rate of customs duties vary from country to country. It is our experience that small value personal shipments rarely attract customs duties. But if customs duties is levied upon you then we do REFUND it. The refund is limited to 20% of the invoice value or US $100 whichever is lower.
When do we refund?In order to help individual buyers do their personal shopping at craftOrissa without any fears of paying customs duties, craftOrissa proposes to REFUND customs duties only in the following cases:
- The customer/addressee/consignee is an individual and not an organization.
- The customer is not a wholesale buyer registered member of craftOrissa.
- The order should have been made online and payment made through credit card or PayPal.
How to get Refund?For all refunds under the above conditions, customers should pay the customs duties as levied and then go to our returns and refunds section to file a refund. A refund confirmation will be sent to you by e-mail. You need to send us the customs duties paid receipt to craftOrissa along with a print out of the confirmation mail while requesting for refund. Please note that any refund requests without the refund-confirmation print out will not be accepted by craftOrissa as a valid refund request. The postage charges for sending the receipt will be borne by the customer. When we do not refund?craftOrissa does not refund customs duties in the following cases:
- The order is from one of our registered wholesale customers.
- The customer/addressee/consignee is an organization/shop and not an individual.
- The item has not been bought from the craftOrissa website.
